This watch has great sentimental value originating from a relative who worked on the railroads of the US. Not wishing for it to be kept in a drawer and only seen occasionally, the owner asked me if I could envisage a suitable mount. The resulting stand incorporates laser cut steam driving wheels mounted on a soldered brass frame and watch hooks with a rolled antique brass dust cover, all set on a section of railway track. My client was absolutely delighted with the end result!
